Tomorrowland 2021 verschuift uitzonderlijk naar einde zomer

Woensdag 17 maart 2021 - De festival weekends, eind juli, komen dit jaar waarschijnlijk te vroeg vanwege de aanhoudende COVID-19 pandemie. Tomorrowland hoopt dat de situatie tegen het einde van de zomer zal verbeteren. Daarom zal het festival, enkel in 2021, verplaatst worden naar 27, 28 en 29 augustus (festival weekend 1) en 3, 4 en 5 september (festival weekend 2).

We willen positief en hoopvol blijven over een onvergetelijk einde van de zomer van 2021, maar beseffen ook dat de kans bestaat dat de 16de editie van Tomorrowland in 2022 zal plaatsvinden.

Tomorrowland is dankbaar om zo nauw en constructief samen te werken met de lokale & nationale overheden en experten. Alle beslissingen en richtlijnen over buitenevenementen die in de komende maanden genomen worden, en de daarbij horende toelatingen en vergunningen, zullen gevolgd worden.

We verwachten in mei bij jullie terug te komen met een meer gedetailleerde update. Voor nu blijven we hard werken om het mooiste en veiligste festival te realiseren.

Het welzijn, de gezondheid en de veiligheid van de festivalgangers, partners, leveranciers, artiesten en buurtbewoners zijn top prioriteit.
