Saturday, 29 July 2023 - The first day of Tomorrowland’s 17th edition’s second weekend has ended. A magical day full of highlights and special moments, here’s a quick look at what the People of Tomorrow got to enjoy throughout the opening day and night.

Spectacular performances on the breathtaking ‘Adscendo’ Mainstage
The first day of weekend 2 kicked off with a dazzling Daybreak Session by the mysterious Claptone. Other notable Mainstage acts on Friday included B Jones, Brina Knauss, Dom Dolla, Hardwell, Kölsch, Matisse & Sadko, Öwnboss, Purple Disco Machine, Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso and Tiësto.

VE/RA’s debut at Tomorrowland’s Atmosphere stage
​VE/RA
, a 23-year-old techno DJ & producer from the Netherlands who participated in the bootcamp of the Tomorrowland Academy last year, made her debut one year later at the Atmosphere stage. Her unique sound has been making waves in the industry and her music got played by Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte, Reinier Zonneveld and many more. With exciting collaborations coming up, VE/RA is undoubtedly an emerging talent to keep a close eye on. Other performances at the Atmosphere stage were brought by I Hate Models, Nina Kraviz, Patrick Mason, and many more.

CORE presents Mind Against
The mythical and beautifully crafted CORE stage, one of Tomorrowland’s most unique stages where music and nature come together, kicked off the first day of weekend 2 with a special hosting by Italian duo Mind Against. Visitors were also treated to sets by Amémé, Dino Lenny, HAAi, Olympe, Trikk B2B Jimi Jules and more, tucked away in the festival’s enchanting forests.

The finest house music at the Crystal Garden
Drifting on the water and steaming on all sides, the magnificent Crystal Garden welcomed the finest house music artists, including Claptone, James Hype, Korolova, Meduza, Vintage Culture and more.

Q-dance Take Over
Spreading the harder styles at Tomorrowland, Q-dance took over The Library with a special Q-dance Take Over by Ran-D, Sefa and Sub Zero Project.
