Friday, 25 July 2025 - People of Tomorrow from all corners of the world have made it to the first day of the second weekend of Tomorrowland’s 19th edition in Boom, Belgium. Tomorrowland’s magic is made in large part by its stages. As you will have noticed by now, there’s never a dull moment as you switch between styles such as big room, (hard) techno, psytrance, house, drum & bass, and hardstyle in front of varying backdrops. What’s more, the stages are always a visual fit to the walls of sound they host. Everything, in other words, is taken care of when it comes to the best settings for dancing. And just in case you missed something so far, here’s a tour of all stages.
Mainstage
After an outpouring of love from People of Tomorrow worldwide, the incredible production and construction crews of Tomorrowland worked round the clock to rebuild the Mainstage, and Tomorrowland was able to go through mostly as planned. The gates opened to welcome thousands of sparkling souls who were more ready than ever to make the most of it. A crowd congregated by the newly re-erected Mainstage, cheering on crew as they put the finishing touches to the new edifice, built up in the span of less than 48 hours.
CORE
After a series of spectacular shows around the world, the legendary CORE stage has made its way back to Tomorrowland’s enchanting forests in De Schorre. Surrounded by nature and deeper sounds, the CORE stage completes your rediscovery of the forgotten harmony of all living things.
Planaxis
The Planaxis stage, where a giant conch and lavish fountains invite you to soak in the glory of the City of Planaxis, the theme of Tomorrowland 2018. Here, people become more aware of their deep connection to the original source of life – water. It’s here that the appreciation for the beauty of the oceans will surely wash over you like a wave.
Freedom Stage
So you love outdoor festival vibes, but also live for indoor club raves? Welcome to the renewed Freedom Stage, the world’s largest indoor dancefloor at a festival and technical marvel, crowned by the Floating Sky – a massive kinetic installation surrounded by 210 video tiles and 300 m2 of LED screens. With a mind-blowing LED light installation, ready to beam you up to parallel galaxies, and a sound system that is no less impressive, this massive venue ticks all the boxes for an unparallelled experience. With a 7-meter moving structure that shifts and transforms above the crowd, it delivers an unmatched, unique experience for every raver beneath it. With artists like Eric Prydz, Solomun, and Sara Landry, the Freedom Stage draws a crowd for its line-up as much as for its sensory experiences. Another definite crowd pleaser? The Symphony of Unity was put not once, but twice, treating the crowd to a live orchestral rendition of their dancefloor favorites.
Crystal Garden
If there ever was an enchanted swamp worth visiting, it would be this magnificent piece of floating art. Drifting on the water and steaming on all sides, the Crystal Garden oozes eclectic beats and enticing sounds.
Melodia
The Melodia stage is only a short walk away from Planaxis. Here you can let yourself be charmed by the sounds of the harp that signifies the Secret Kingdom of Melodia, the theme of Tomorrowland 2015. Feel its energy take you by the hand, and enjoy Mediterranean and Latin house vibes.
Atmosphere
Atmosphere is a massive indoor stage filled with all the top-notch artists your techno heart could ever desire. The custom-made tent structure caters to thousands of dedicated party people and has an immense backline of LED screens to further ignite the explosive dancefloor. This stage is about techno in all of its relentless shapes.
House of Fortune
JBL, the grand ambassador of portable sound, is hosting the House of Fortune, Tomorrowland’s one and only boiler room-type stage. This intimate space pulses with raw energy and surprising sounds, as it offers you a chance to get up close and personal with rising stars on the edge of breaking through and established names alike. The specially designed booth lets you experience the music from any and all sides, as you dance behind, in front of, or next to the DJ. Every day, the line-up brings refreshing sounds by artists from the JBL Academy, stars on the rise, and big industry names.
The Great Library
When it comes to new stage designs, there is a lot more to discover. Most importantly, The Great Library, formerly known as The Library, has now outgrown the larger-than-life collection of books you may remember from last year. The world of stories and ideas, after all, goes beyond the mere physical, it is a spirited and living reflection of existence itself, and it never remains still for long. The Great Library comes in the form of a lush dome of adventure, fully embedded in nature. It’s a physical building that thrives on serenity and wisdom – it carries the spirit of every single world that has become familiar to you throughout the years, all the pillars that form our universe of magic.
Rose Garden
Feast your eyes on the Rose Garden and watch the giant dragon move her head as she watches over the dedicated party crowd, enjoying the wide variety of genres that call this stage home.
Elixir
Built on the edge of the water, the Elixir stage is your safe haven for high-quality eclectic sounds. As you approach, the stage’s mesmerizing, theatrical décor casts a spell, drawing the People of Tomorrow closer with its magnetic allure.
The Rave Cave
One of the original Tomorrowland institutions you may not yet have heard of: The Rave Cave. Tomorrowland never ceases to honor the roots of its musical success. The Rave Cave is the place to take you back to the original vibe of outdoor partying when all you needed was a pair of speakers, a handful of DJs, and a tunnel to rave in.
Rise
The Rise stage is nestled in green nature full of beautiful plants and summery vibes. The unique aspect of this stage lies in its dual role, as it not only showcases performances by renowned DJ stars, but also serves as a platform for aspiring young DJ talents to showcase their skills through collaboration with the Tomorrowland Academy.
Cage
At the Cage, the darkness of clubs and warehouses is celebrated in full effect. The Cage is where you lose yourself to the sounds of modern techno, rave, and industrial hardcore DJs. If you love ultra-energetic vibes and rhythms, then the Cage is where your friends will find you.
Avicii Forever – The Tribute
Prior to his untimely passing in 2018, Tim Bergling made an impact unlike anyone else on hundreds of thousands of fans as well as the sound of electronic music in general. Now, ten years after Avicii’s final Tomorrowland performance, the festival is honoring the late, great producer with a tribute installation called Avicii Forever. Located behind the Mainstage area, Avicii Forever is only accessible on reservation, allowing fans the chance to remember him in peace, reliving his legacy through unique images and visuals. It’s a feeling of unity and love that is remembered at the Avicii Forever Tribute first and foremost.
