Charlotte de Witte will be playing the Tomorrowland Mainstage twice this year

The Belgian techno powerhouse will be making history by both opening and closing the legendary Mainstage on the same day

Wednesday, 9 July 2025 - Just over a week to go before Tomorrowland returns to the beautiful scenery of De Schorre in Boom, Belgium for its 19th edition, revolving around this year’s ‘Orbyz’ theme! On Saturday July 19, Belgian techno powerhouse Charlotte de Witte will be making history by both opening and closing the legendary Tomorrowland Mainstage – the first artist to ever do this. Charlotte will be kicking off the day with a unique Daybreak set at noon, setting the tone with her signature dark, driving beats. Then, after a full day of music, she will return to close out the night in electrifying style, delivering a high-energy finale that leaves the crowd in awe.

Charlotte de Witte: “This year, I’ll be playing on the Mainstage – not once, but twice. Back in 2011, after winning a DJ contest, I had the chance to open the Mainstage of Tomorrowland. It basically changed my life. In 2022, three years ago, I was the first techno and female act to close the same Mainstage. Fast forward to this year – 2025 – I will be closing the Mainstage and I will also be opening the Mainstage on the same day to have a very full circle all-round 360 approach to the whole day. I really look forward to seeing everyone at the Mainstage twice this year.”
